If you seem to get pain EVERY training cycle, this one's for you.

The fall half and full marathon training cycle is about to begin!! Yippee!!

Except, you're worried about how your body will take the increase in mileage.

Because no matter what you do, something always seems to pop up...

  • After doing long runs past 7-10 miles

  •  After hitting those 20+ mile weeks

  • After buying new shoes
  • After trying every video of exercises from online influencers

And you go into panic mode because here it is AGAIN. Rest days help, but the pain always seems to come back.

If this is the case, it's usually not one isolated problem. Which (sorry)  means there is not one quick-fix solution... Learn more below!

I wish I could say that I know exactly the right solution when you tell me you have knee/hip/foot/ankle/back pain with running.

The reality is that when you tell me that, I just have about 5000 questions pop into my mind on what to ask you about your issue.

Because recovering from an injury is like baking a cake.

Say you want to purchase a chocolate cake from the bakery. As the baker, I need the flour, the sugar, the eggs, etc... I wish I could pull a chocolate cake out of nothing, but that's not how life works (wouldn't that be fun!).

To get results that last, you need the time and the recipe to get there. I'm not a quick-fix solution kind of physical therapist and coach because I want you to have a foundation that withstands the storm.

If that sounds like something you'd want to, but (like me) are stubborn and independent, then that's why I made the Runner's Checklist Course.

Set aside 2 hours this weekend to run through the step-by-step videos I've created to help you self-identify what needs attention and HOW to address it.

As always,

Happy Running!

Should You Change Your Running Form?
A question many runners have is: “Can I actually change my running form?” The short answer is yes! You can change your running form. But, before googling how to do so, let's stop for a moment and look at what the research says. Because there’s a common thought process that if you want to change the way you run, you simply need to strengthen the “right” muscles with three exercises to "wake up y...
When You're Showing Up, But Results Aren't
We’ve all heard that staying consistent is the key to seeing long-term results. But what if you are being consistent… and still aren’t seeing the progress you’re looking for? Maybe you’re: Doing your physical therapy exercises consistently, but you’re still having pain. Lacing up your running shoes multiple times a week, but you still don’t feel fitter or faster. Constantly tweaking your train...
Is Your Body Hitting a Mileage Ceiling?
Over the last few weeks I've spoken with several runners who are starting marathon or half marathon training who are worried if they're doing too much and causing more pain. One in particular has been dealing with heel pain for weeks.  It's been challenging to manage because it may not bother her DURING the run, but it's after and the next day that it flares with a vengence.  So she kept traini...
